Chippewill Condo Association

Westerville, Ohio

The condo board lacks effectiveness, seems to mismanage projects throughout the community.

The condo board lacks effectiveness, seems to mismanage projects throughout the community. Unfinished work is evident on garages. The board president is a tyrant that needs to be removed. Take a drive through to check on this claim. The garages look half demolished. Nice job board! Do not purchase here until the board changes. It is really bad and the president is, for whatever reason, obsessed with power it seems. The community has potential, but it is being scuttled by the board - mainly the president.

Ohio HOA Questions

Ohio HOAs are governed by the Ohio Planned Community Law (ORC Chapter 5312) for planned communities and the Ohio Condominium Property Act (ORC Chapter 5311) for condominiums.

Q2:Can an Ohio HOA restrict American flag display?

No. The federal Freedom to Display the American Flag Act prohibits HOAs from banning the display of the U.S. flag. Ohio HOAs can impose reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions but cannot prohibit it outright.
