If I could give zero stars I would. Homeowners have been invited to one HOA meeting in five years. It has been extremely difficult to obtain any financial information, get any help, or trust the board. We feel we have no input whatsoever and are being bullied every day. We’re paying the highest dues in NC, and we can’t even perform our own lawn maintenance, even though our yards and flower beds are full of weeds, have dead shrubs, and no consistent lawn care service. Our board is threatening to raise dues to $3,000 a month. One person controls whether you can have a mailbox, says he’s going to own all of our homes, and has everyone needing security cameras for fear of this person’s erratic behavior. We cannot sell our homes because of the high dues and special assessments we keep getting to force us into foreclosure.
