Run by homeowners, not a mgmt company. Almost all seniors, so quiet and peaceful. Run by homeowners, which has pros and cons. They're amateurs, largely with no training in how to run an HOA. There are legal minefields with HOAs and training should be mandatory for board members. Currently nice people, and apparently honest, but they're old and who will replace them? That's always a huge risk in a small HOA. If you buy in one, GET INVOLVED. Ask questions, read minutes, volunteer. Don't be blindsided when problems inevitably appear! Like so many boards everywhere, they're reluctant to raise dues until a crisis happens, and then everyone suffers with big assessments . Hasn't happened in Claremont yet, but it will. Roads are colossally expensive. Raise dues regularly!
