Think Carefully Before Choosing Sixes Management. I understand that managing an HOA is difficult and that a management company cannot give every homeowner the answer they want. That isn’t my issue. My issue is how concerns are handled. We have experienced repeated follow-up, limited ownership, and responses that too often seem focused on explaining why something cannot be done rather than helping find a reasonable path forward. At times, legitimate and well-documented concerns have simply been minimized rather than meaningfully addressed. Homeowners shouldn’t have to work this hard to get clarity and follow-through from a company they are paying to manage their community. Based on our experience and numerous interactions with Sixes, I would not recommend them. If I were on an HOA board considering Sixes Management, I would think very carefully about the level of responsiveness, judgment, accountability and homeowner service I expected before putting my community in their hands. The volume and consistency of the poor reviews are pretty telling. It’s unlikely that all of us leaving reviews live in the same neighborhood or have dealt with the exact same circumstances. Yet so many of the experiences seem to share one common denominator: Sixes Management. We still have to work with Sixes, and I genuinely hope they give us reason to change our assessment.
