Neglect, Dishonesty, False claims, Abuse of power… Over the past few years, I have been living in this Condominium dealing with many issues that arouse and that was present til this day. The biggest problem that this Condomínium has is its townhouse infested properties which are mostly rented with tenants and some owners like me who decided to remain due to not having another choice to move out. Your first nightmare would be dealing with the bedbug infestation that most if not all units have in their premises. Each square feet of the townhouse are infested with bedbugs and they hatchlings. Bedbugs causes severe irritation to the skin when they bite and if your allergic to their bites you get big ,itchy lumps on the surface of your skin causing you to constantly itch and scratch your skin , thus, resulting in big red patches and cut infected skin. This also causes stress, sleep disorders, irritation, depression, anxiety and the feeling of guilt for investing in something that caused us all this harm. Eventually making you take decisions of seeking help psychologically and mentally. This is a huge burden on my family members my kid having bed bug bites on their skin and causing embarrassment when going to school and seeing their friends, my wife constantly reminding me of the bad choice we made to have bought this townhouse causing huge amount of stress over my conscience. If I could go back to not have purchased this townhouse and before looking at negative reviews of this place I would have done just that, but , I was blinding to the fake reviews that the realtor and the attorney gave us. Secondly , the neglect that this HOA and management has gone through and continue to practice in this place is beyond crazy. There are structural damages around the whole condominium , like for example , back porch concrete slab hasn’t been fixed in many units and it’s basically falling apart, wild animals living inside , huge cracks that has been filled with granite and bits of rock just to falsely say that it’s been fixed temporarily, sidewalks with structural damages, some offsets , others broken and in pieces, some with holes , others patched up but destroyed by weather conditions, laundromat within the buildings are trashed , machines broken , dirty, animal fur, feces , smell is unbearable, a stench of flooded old stale water in the basement where the laundromat is placed, machines don’t work how they should, remnants of dead birds and animals found inside the laundromats, basement where the electrical box for each unit is flooded , poorly maintained and not updated technology for a building that was built in the 1960’s. HOA and management ignores requests for repairs, delays repairs and single people out for their race, culture and status; HOA and management raises the HOA common charges to what ever price they feel like, but , does not make any changes or fixes anything to make the condominium more attractive to buyers or sellers or even for tenants and home owners to enjoy. This Condominium does not have a pool, tennis club, food court or any such amenities to require the tenants or home owners to pay such a high HOA fee of $600 per month with assessment included; in which the assessment never ends and nothing is ever done. This is truly the worse experience I have ever had owning my own townhouse in the Danbury Connecticut area and I am here to warn buyers to steer clear of this place for your own sanity and financial burden. Please , do stay away from this place as they are known to do scam people of their hard earned money. All the repair requests that I have done in the past which include having my heater valves replaced, a leak that I still have until this day that is coming from the outside gutter of my home entering through the walls and causing structural damage to my unit has been ignored by the HOA and a management and this request was made ever since I’ve moved to my home and it’s been 3 years ago. I do warn and encourage the sellers or the home owners to as quickly as possible to sell your units and do not mix with these corrupt individuals and have a peaceful life starting somewhere else. Rei property management is one of the most corrupt, low life thugs, HOA slum lords, dishonest, incompetent, unprofessional, disrespectful associations that you can ever rely on, so please I do warn you stay clear and miles away and don’t look back.
