You will regret moving into this neighborhood because one board member <redacted> thinks she owns all the homes because her husband had some minor role in the development of this small community. There are only 91 homes and she wasted almost $12,000 on an attorney to make us take wire mesh down so we could contain our puppy… and 9 other homes had the same wire mesh. We never had and attorney and we were not assessed a fine. They like to say others are grandfathered in if they are her friends. If you have kids you can’t have a basketball hoop. They send out emails telling you to clean bugs out of your outdoor lights. The only thing you get for your $650/ year dues is trash service. Everything else is donated. <redacted> is the president but he is a little weasel who does whatever <redacted> tells him to do. We have lived in an HoA community for the last 20 years and never had a problem. These people are psycho, controlling nuts. We would move but won’t give them the satisfaction.
