HOA isn't too bad here.
HOA isn't too bad here. They don't nitpick too much, but there are rules for what material to use on exterior of homes because they are all townhouses. Plenty of trees. No pool or physical amenities other than green space, but the fees cover water usage which is a big deal, along with all landscaping, snow removal, trash/recycling services, and painting of the homes on a 7-year cycle. Management company is currently Diamond and they respond timely when you ask a question. Money seems to be doing alright. Looks like we have decent amounts in the bank and reserve is well funded. I've lived here since 2018 and there's never been a special assessment.

Management company is terrible.
Management company is terrible. The current board president is terrible. She singles out people that disagree with her and then ruins their reputation. She lack a financial understanding and believes relationships with contractors are more important that being fiscally responsible. Treasurer is clueless.

Property Owners Associations or Home Owners Associations are really...
Property Owners Associations or Home Owners Associations are really totalitarian dictatorships with childish 'clicks'. These entities were created by minds that supported Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler. Since I moved into my home I have rued the day! I have been lied to, I have been harassed relentlessly. If I ask a question, I am never answered. When I write to the board they won't respond. If you complain to the Attorney General they will only tell you to seek legal advice. So, if you wish to live in such a community, I suggest you have a lot of money to fight these egregious practices. A house should be enjoyable. Living in a totalitarian dictatorship is not!

This Homeowners association has hired a management company that is the WORST management company I have ever seen. They will literarily sue you for not paying their association fees, without letting you know that you are behind. It is like you are actually suing yourself. I have lived there for more than 20 years and this management company has no understanding. The members of this association are also unbelievable to allow such an atrocity for homeowners. I believe they have gone too far by acting on this policy if it is one. Beware you cannot even change your cars oil. If the grass gets a bit too long because of the rain, they will charge you! If your trash can stay out for one day they will charge you! they are money hungry association! They have made life miserable for the homeowners!THE WORST!I will probably ending up selling my property because It is unacceptable!

Perkiomen Woods is nothing short of a totalitarian dictatorship.
Perkiomen Woods is nothing short of a totalitarian dictatorship. If you have always wanted to live under a fascist regime then by all means buy a house (and they are built with shit and spit--I know because I own one) in this depraved community.
